Swedish
A therapeutic massage, using oil and incorporating a medley of Swedish techniques (effleurage, petrissage), designed to enhance circulation, encourage relaxation, and reduce muscle tension. Drift away from your hectic life with this soothing massage which is geared to relieve your body and mind of stress. You will emerge feeling radiant and serene.
I am well versed in the Bancroft Method™, which is a systematic Swedish relaxation massage. Most of my clients like this form of Swedish massage, yet they appreciate the creativity I can bring to it, with incorporating other modalities, in order to tailor the massage for their body.

Lomi Lomi
Lomi Lomi simply means "massage" in the Hawaiian language. This massage incorporates long, fluid strokes, creating a deep sense of relaxation and nurturing. This treatment is excellent for increasing the circulatory and lymphatic systems and for detoxifying the body. It also aligns the body, mind, and spirit which gives the receiver a heightened sense of clarity and euphoria. It is quite a profound experience, and I would encourage anyone who loves Swedish massage to try it.
Reiki
I became a Level II Reiki practitioner before I entered the Bancroft School of Massage Therapy. Reiki (pronounced Ray Key) is a Japanese form of energy work. Reiki is a gentle approach to bodywork, using a light laying on of hands to cleanse and balance the energy system in the body. Benefits can include the release of mental or emotional stress or even releasing chronic pain. Once a bodyworker becomes a Reiki practitioner, the work never leaves the hands... so you may feel Reiki energy work coming through any of my massages.
Deep Tissue
This treatment is aimed at reducing tension, stiffness, and pain, allowing for greater flexibility and joint mobility. This is a great way to alleviate chronic pain, knots, muscle soreness, or injury and to improve your physical health. My deep tissue training consists of trigger point, myofascial, sports massage, cross fiber friction, and PNF stretching. In your session, I will employ a variety or all of these modalities, based on your needs. Depending on your condition, I also may recommend ice or heat and use them in your session.
Hot Stone
Melt away your tension and worries with this hot stone treatment. This treatment enhances circulation, decreases stress and tension, and creates an overall feeling of well-being. Hot stones are glided over your sore and stiff muscles, allowing your muscles to soften and relax. Stones are also strategically placed on your muscles, allowing the heat to radiant throughout your body. This is a truly relaxing and grounding experience.
Hot stone massage can be booked for 1.5 hours or 2 hours.

Asian Techniques
I have studied Shiatsu and Thai massage. These modalities can be practiced on their own, or incorporated into a Swedish or Deep Tissue treatment. Asian techniques consist of compressions, stretching, and direct stimulation of pressure points along the energy pathways, or meridians, of your body. The meridian pathways connect to the organs of the body. Asian massage is a very meditative healing art that honors the body, mind, and spirit.
Chair Massage
Chair massage is a popular way of relieving stress and releasing tension right in your home or workplace. You receive your massage in a specialized ergonomic chair which I bring to your location. In addition to the usual health benefits of massage, another benefit of chair massage is that it is done over the clothing. Also, chair massage sessions are usually shorter than traditional massage, making it convenient enough to fit into your busy schedule.
